Long Islanders Stephen and Susan Sanfilippo have been finding and singing Long Island’s historic songs of the sea since the mid-1980s, bringing together music, history and a sense of place in a most creative way. Stephen’s performance of songs from the 1700s through late 1900s will take us on a musical trip around Long Island, with songs of crossing the Atlantic, Sag Harbor and Greenport whalemen, lighthouses, shipwrecks, and so much more.
