Welcome to Peconic Landing's Kick Alz Car Show of 2018!
Now seeking entrants for Peconic Landing's very first Car Show supporting the Walk to End Alzheimer's: Put your ride on display beside the historic Brecknock Hall for this family- friendly event taking place Sunday, August 12th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Rain date August 19th)
Peconic Landing is looking for proud owners of all models looking to support the cause. A display of more than 50 models will be showcased on the historic property for all to enjoy, with a food truck, ice cream and lawn games available for the family. Corn hole, giant Jenga, and a 50/50 raffle will be available with a picnic area located under the tent. Lawn chairs welcome.

Donations are also welcome. All proceeds will support the Alzheimer's Association of Suffolk County’s Walk to End Alzheimer's.

A proud panel of Peconic Landing members will help judge the contest. Prizes will be awarded to Most Original, Best Paint, Best Restoration, Best in Show and Kids Choice. An awards ceremony will take place about 3 p.m. on the back steps of Brecknock Hall. The event will end with a car parade around the property and Community Center. For its youngest guests, the Kick Alz Car Show will offer an opportunity to join a judge as they walk around to cast their vote for the Kids Choice Award.
Peconic Landing and the Alzheimer's Association of Suffolk County would like to thank the Event Sponsors: Chris Manfredi of Allstate, Island Portables, American Tent, Mattituck Sanitation, Shamrock Tree and Marianna Newman or Journeyscape Design, who has donated therapeutic DVDs to benefit those living with dementia.
Representatives from the Alzheimer's Association of Suffolk County will be in attendance to answer questions and share information about the disease – including support groups available at Peconic Landing.
